Tech goes out and this is what he writes in his report

Tech. line recommended we get heater kit and center air tower for fresh food compartment which isnt on the parts look up . please research . there is a new design . all lines secured and no leaks, ordrng 1 air tower and 1 W10619962 (heater), O-emld tckt [SdLink\111607a.png] (via SDM)

Do you guys maybe know that part number? for the Back wall? Tech said whirlpool techline didn’t give him the part number.
IT is supposed to be a back wall with a new design?

Any help will be greatly appreciate it, have the customer calling me,,, and have no part number 🙁

Unit is not making ice. Unit has flex tray ice maker, could not locate any harvest button for the ice maker. The display was not working on front of door, fixed damaged wiring to get display running (On off switch for ice maker on display, display was not functioning for years), After this worked, was looking for fault codes on main display based on tech manual, none showed. Put unit in to test mode, would not show any error codes on front display. Based on tech manual, the control has blinking lights on ice maker module part of PCB, there was no blinking lights that indicated any problems with ice maker. Followed tech manual to OHM check motor, switch & thermistor based on temp guide from UI, all checks out fine. Ohm’d out the water valve, this checks out fine, water pressure through front is great. Is there any way to cycle this ice maker? Or a way to activated water valve perhaps by switching the inlet wires and pressing for water? Thanks in advance

whirlpool coin op washer, model # cae2743bq0, was flashing all lights.
replaced lid switch, still all lights are flashing, nothing changed.
own has two bought at the same time.
took the control panel and board off the other washer and tried it, no luck.
but put that board back on the washer it came off of, and now it is just pumping water out and that’s all
now.
so left washer pumping non-stop
and the right washer all lights are flashing, both machines have the same model numbers,
unit are only two years old.

CUSTOMER SAYS THAT THEY HIT POWER BUTTON, IT STAYS ON FOR BRIEF MOMENT AND THEN SHUTS OFF. THEY HAVE TO PRESS THE POWER BUTTON AIN TO KEEP TURNING IT ON.
ERROR CODE F34 COMES ON AFTER POWER FADES. Tried to test power line going into unit to main board but not sure if low voltage should be present.

Customer says it spins ok cycle finishes ok, the vent sends cold air out and clothes are not dry.
My first thought was to check the heat element and thermal cutoff. Unfortunately, when I spoke with Bosch, they said they dont make the heating element for this anymore and there is no replacement part number. Would you test both first ? what would test second ?

GE Range, I replace the small oven light switch yesterday for a physical fail. put back together and the light stayed on.
With power off I got path to ground on both wires at switch with bulb removed and socket hanging in oven.
There is a terminal block on left side behind control panel that has a red wire, blue wire and another wire on it. With the red wire removed from that block the path to ground goes away. I found this by mistake trying to follow the red wire from the switch(goes to button control block).Any ideas here? I don’t want to pull the range to trace these wires back to the light socket.
PS. Lightning got the house(after I diagnosed the bad switch).
Help?
Thanks,

I looked at this flex tray ice maker in this fridge today. The unit is not making ice and the ice melted in the bin. Temperature was 23 degrees in the ice bin area when I checked with temp gun. I have not worked on one of these before. Ice bin is in the upper left hand corner of the fridge. Temps in the fridge and freezer are perfect. I looked on . Can anyone shed some light on how to diagnose this ice maker and or send me a tech sheet. Is there another source for Frigidaire tech manuals? Thank you for any advise.

We have a Samsung WF520ABP/XAA 04 serial number Y08X54AB600511H Problem : When we put a cycle in Norman,Quick Wash, Rinse and spin and other modes it goes thru the cycles and everything drains out then when you come to the SPIN cycle it counts down to 8 or 7 and does not go to high speed spin just a slow spin back and forth for several minutes. then it stops and goes back to the beginning of the cycle starting all over. It sometimes shows unbalanced load? I cleaned out the lower drain I do that every 2 months did not have much in it. I put it in the test spin mode and it ran to max speed . I have unplugged the unit and it seems to run for a few loads then goes back to the same. When it does go into high speed spin it seems to be louder than normal . we have had this washer for 5 years and we have always used it the same way . Matt Thank You again for your help.

Working on a Gibson dishwasher that does not seem to wash the top rack. We normally do not work on this brand so I don’t know much about them. I am thinking that the pump changes directions to change the wash action from the bottom to top racks. It does not appear to being changing. Is this more likely to be a timer problem or a pump problem.

Customer says that over 7 techs already visited him to try to solve freezer still warm issue.
There is no frost build up near evaporator coil. Heater, thermostat and fan inside freezer work.
customer says previous techs suspected a leak or sealed system failure. They changed compressor, 3 way valve, control board in freezer and fresh food section fridge. But freezer still warm. If the compressor is new could they have missed the start relay before the compressor ? Does it always have to “click” before you determine it is bad ?

When I push the power button select cycle push start normally the you will hear the door latch lock and the sensing light will light then the washer will go thru its regular routine of going thru the wash cycle. Now when I push the power button, select the cycle, push the start button NOTHING WILL HAPPEN, NO ERROR CODES!

I have water to the filter. Where do I go from here?
Does this Kenmore / LG fridge have a holding tank? And where is it? I have walked my customer thru a few troubleshooting issues, to eliminate the obvious.
We have determined that the flow of water stops at the filter. Or water gets to the filter, then after that, who knows. I replaced the valve about 6 weeks ago. Now the water dispenser just stopped working.
I am going over to his house tomorrow AM, and I am asking you guys for advice on what to look for. I tried searching online to see where the holding tank is, but no luck. I’ll do the typical inspection of the lines, look to see if the line is frozen at the dispenser, etc.
But primarily 2 questions.
1. Is there a holding tank, and how can I get to it?
2. Is it possible that the dispenser on / off contact is broken? If so, how can I test it?

As always thank you

Washer started leaking recently, research indicates that the most common cause is the bellows. On older washers, many times the culprit was the seal on the pump where it connects to motor. How can I tell for sure that it is the bellows and not some other part.
I already replaced the hot and cold faucets which I initially thought was the problem but not the box is bone dry including the drain hose inlet.
Still, a lot of water on the floor which seems to be coming out from under the washer on the left side.
I’ve already bought the bellows from your affiliate source but before I waste the $150 and can’t get it back, I’d like to be sure that the bellows is the source of the problem.
not sure what year the machine is as I bought it from a friend who was moving. Serial number is HLW4045088

Also wondering why the bleach dispenser sometimes does not fully drain. I’ve ruined several pieces of clothing, thinking that what was in the dispenser was water, rather than bleach.

If I only get one question, then the first one is the most important. Thank.

Looked at above Bosch dishwashers, did not find wire diagram in either one. I thought they were stuck in a pocket in the base behind the toe plate. Not behind outer door panel, so anyplace else I should look?
Customer says it doesn’t clean and dishes are not hot like before. I did the following checks while it was washing. Heater circuit (R – W/R wires) had 120vac and 9 amps. NTC (O-O wires) was at 25.56k ohms and water was 95 degrees. Wash motor was pulsing, I am thinking the washer is trying to heat the water. Does anyone have a wire diagram / tech sheet for this model? Any suggestions on what to look for?
This unit has a timer, so I checked all wires on the timer. To ground, B, W/R, PU, GY, AND GY/B all had 120vac. GY/B had 8.86 amps at one point. I am guessing this is the heater circuit? A thermostat on top of the door inner panel (W – Y wires) was open.
Anyone with a wire diagram / tech sheet for this model? Any suggestions on what to look for?

Initial Complaint: Food in Freezer frosted over and warm fresh food compartment
I air vents frosted shut between Freezer and Fresh food compartment causing freezer to
super cool trying to satisfy Fresh Food compartment which of course is never satisfied because
airways are blocked. Freezer -20, Freshfood 50 degrees
Repair: I defrosted air vents and problem reoccurs in two weeks and then again in another two weeks
Doors close nicely by themselves and fan and lights work properly. Educated home owner on making
sure the door are not held ajar and not putting steaming hot pots of soup in fridge or anything.
Data Logger reads very high humidity in freezer almost every day for a number of hours.
What could I be missing?

Unit powers on without issue. I had set the timer on the touchpad (for testing purposes) by pressing 1 0 0 0 ( for ten minutes ) and then hit “start”. After I hit the START button on the touchpad, the timer was counting down without issue but the microwave was not on or activated. I could not hear the motor or the fan or magnetron or anything.
Could there be a bad switch on the board inside ?
