Is this something blocking the drain or the pump failing? My husband wants to try and work on it himself if possible.

How can we check this? I really don’t want to buy a new one and think we can fix it.

Why would it stop at the same point a couple times in a row? I normally go in and open the lid to see it hasn’t finished, and then have to restart it at that point, and it works fine.

My son forgot to put the lint screen back in and a sock is missing from the load he did, would it have gotten sucked into the dryer somewhere? I wasn’t sure where to even look.

Usually, when I OPEN the fridge door I can hear a fan motor stop. I don’t hear it anymore. Now, frost is building in the freezer and on the evaporator coils (not a lot.) Some water drops collecting on top panel of freezer.
Food items are still frozen, but the fridge is not as cold as it should be. Does the evaporator fan have two speeds? One for constant, low-level cooling and another speed for catch-up cooling?

machine started popping while on spin cycle. It will not spin at full speed. Clothes are soaked. I installed a new thrust bearing kit part number 2100 1734. It will not go into proper alignment with the shims. With the small shim. 032 thickness it is below the minimum pulley hub reference. I removed all the shims and it is aligned perfectly between the two marks.I tried it again and it is spinning at full speed but then pops again and slows then goes back to full speed then pops and slows.it is a little better but it is still not right. I’m starting to wonder if its the transmission. Any help would be appreciated I’m about to just throw it out the back door and go buy a new one.thanks.

My compressor is making noise, I like to look into it but need to remove the freeze bins (top and bottom) to get to it. I’m having trouble with the removing the bins. I was able to remove the door on the freezer, but I’m stuck on removing the bins. Seems like there are 2 tabs on the top bin that’s blocking the top bin from sliding all the way out. Is there a way to remove the blockers? Am I suppose to remove the top bin first then the bottom bin? Let me know if I’m going at it the right way.
Thanks,
-Frank

Ice maker is only crushing ice. The solenoid is not activating so the dispenser arm is not allowing cubes to dispense. I changed the solenoid, which was visually damaged on the inside, but it is still not activating. Would this be a Maytag Refrigerator Dispenser Actuator, part #W10205979, problem? The auger is working fine, it spins when the ice dispense pad is pushed.

My Amana frig & freezer (model#ACD2234HRB) were both warm, although fan would still run. After hearing a clicking & humming sound. The information I found noted that it was more than likely a bad relay/starter/overload then compressor. So I replaced the starter relay/overload/capacitor(?), part#W10613606 . After replacing it was making the same sound and clicking on and off, also still no cooling to the freezer or frig. But after pulling out the relay to check connections, I noticed the relay/overload was hot to the touch. I don’t have a volt meter to check the compressor or parts. Bad part?

I ordered a new part, just in case it was bad. The same thing, happens hums ,clicks on and off, repeats itself. Will not get compressor running. Relay/overload is hot to touch. Don’t have a volt meter to check compressor.

Model PFSS2MIYC SS
The door alarm was beeping intermittently as well as the display inside was going off and on. Now the display panel (inside) has gone blank but the refrigerator is still working. How do I determine whether to replace the main control board or just the one in the display? Thanks

As demonstrated in this short clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MORn6VdAwbA my washer is making a loud clicking and vibrating at the end of the wash cycle. This only happens on high spin at the end of the wash, and happens with different size loads.

I’ve been just using my lower but am now thinking I’ll need both in the coming weeks. If somebody could point me in the right direction and give me some information that’d be great.

I normally go in and open it up to take a look, see it hasn’t spun out again and try it again. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
