Thermador Professional range with a bad thermostat.
The part # is 00486945
Some of the part #’s that may work are 14-19-866, 14-39-038 or 412888.
Is there a company that rebuilds old thermostats?
What a shame to retire an otherwise perfect range for lack of a part.

We have a kitchenaid refrigerator that previous company replaced ice maker and ice maker optics, we were called out, found that water valve to ice maker was bad. replaced the valve and ice mKSC24C8EYY01aker still not harvesting, I checked power to the ice maker, holding the interlock switch and no power, went behind the kick plate at quick disconnect no power there either… There is no tech data with refrig, does anyone have a tech sheet or advise on how to proceed. Thanks.

I’m having problems with this washer. Model #WFMC1001UC/13. A few months ago I changed out the drain pump on this washer and it worked for a while. When I went this time the washer would not agitate or spin but was draining great. I checked all the wiring, plugged and unplugged all the connections. I tested the washer and then it was running well. Customer stated it was spinning fine for a couple of days. Now complaint is a slow spin. Does anyone know what I should be looking at on this washer? There is a wiring diagram in the washer but I don’t have access to tech support. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Older Asko washer’s and dryer’s had a fuse holder in back. There was 2 separate parts you had to order – fuse holder and insert. Then they came out with a kit that had both parts in same bag.
Anybody know part number and if still available? Thanks.

****Refrigerator is not cooling or staying cold….
I am not able to tell in frig has air /fan flowing… upper part feels warmer
freezer fan is running,
note***, Bottom freezer has had frost, back panel also appears to have ice build up in “grill” areas
Condenser Fan is running, have not checked if condenser is hot, or takin off panel but it sounds like it is running
Would really like to get a better idea the cause of problem what parts to price out to proceed.
Also I have contacted Sears, since that is where I purchased it….but my prefer a private repair person. (any suggestion?)

I replaced the water inlet valve and the dual inlet valves due to the failed continuity readings. I waited 48 hrs and still no ice. I also felt no water in the tray, so I thought the icemaker water line was clogged-replaced that, and waited 48 hrs, and still no ice. Before I did all this I carried out the diagnostic tests you showed, and all systems were normal. Water pressure is normal in back and the water dispenser pressure looks normal. Icemaker dispenser sounds normal. Any suggestions?

Hello,
My top load Whirlpool washer will not start when we turn the knob to select a cycle. Usually, we are able to turn the knob to the desired cycle, and then pull the knob out, which will make the water then begin to drain into the washer. This is not happening anymore.
If we turn the knob and place it between the LIGHT cycle and the RINSE cycle, it will spin a little bit before it begins to rinse. Obviously, this is not washing our clothes effectively because it won’t go through a full cycle like normal.
I am curious as to what part may need to be replaced in order to fix this.

My fridge is cooling but motor sounds like its running non-stop (not load but always running), I checked the back wall of freezer and saw that ice is building up.

When I load my washer, fill the detergent and fabric softener reservoirs and press start, the water begins to fill, however, it fills from the fabric softener side only. The detergent is not introduced to the load. What is the cause of this? I can hear what sounds like a motor running prior the water flow starting.

Last night, out dryer got extremely hot but wasn’t spinning. It literally took about 2 hours for the dryer to cool off, and by that I mean the door and everything. When I plug it in, you can hear the heating element(maybe?) making a soft buzz and it heats up bu the motor isn’t working.

I seem to be getting a build up of suds, they are not all getting rinsed out with each load ran.

Husband thinks it’s the motor, says it hums for a minute when it should be washing and then just drains.

I seem to be missing something because the coils, igniter, thermostat, and fuse are all fine. What else is there that might have failed? Need this working.

My Frigidaire Professional FPHD2491KF buttons don’t work. Well only two light up when I press them. The start button does not work so I can’t run the machine. Would that be a console assembly problem or a pc board problem? How would I find out which one needs to be replaced as I have searched many forums and websites indicating that it can be either the PC board or the Consol assembly (panel where you press buttons) Thanks!

Tried to use my self clean and it just flashes “door” and doesn’t work. Wasn’t sure what this means. I closed it and locked it but it does seem a little bit looser than normal. Maybe it’s not latching completely?

I think I’ve narrowed this down to a bearing but am unsure. Couldn’t find a video to match up and confirm. My son suggested maybe some sort of felt pads as well that he replaced on his. Thought maybe somebody there could help me.

After about 20 minutes my oven beeps as if preheated, but according to my thermostat inside it is about 50 degrees too low. Not sure what that means as far as needing fixed or if we have to replace a part? Am hoping it’s nothing major seeing as I still have to host my family holiday party! Help!

I have so much laundry to do and need this taken care of. I had my husband check the fuse and thermostat after seeing another question similar to mine. If I can get the correct part I think I can handle fixing it myself. Thanks!
