Repair Help

I bought the above at a scratch and dent sale. The interior lights only work when you first plug the unit in. The after about 5 minutes they do not turn on when the door is opened. The light work in the middle drawer and the freezer 100% of the time, just not in the refer part. If I unplug and re-plug in the unit then the refer lights work for about 5 min then nothing.

Also I am not getting water to dispense, and the ice maker is not making ice.

I had a Sears tech come out but could not help. He said it was the main board.

I just replaced the main board and am still having the light issue and water and ice making issue.
However when I hit the ice making button and then push the lever I hear the mechanics in the ice dispenser move. Where before the main board was replaced it did not make the working sound. So the board fixed something relating to the ice maker.

My question is. Is there another circuit board that I should try replacing. I noticed another circuit board below the main board, but I believe it is a power inverter board.

If I can just get the interior light to work properly and maybe get the water to dispense, I would be ok.

Your help and expertise would be appreciated.

Late ignition 2 to 3 times during hour bake time
Frigidaire service says wrong ignitor or too high of amperage at intro. Smell gas at these times.

The washer will fill but when I try to get it to drain and spin the washer will lock but remains at 11 minutes and doesn’t spin or drain.

I need a service manual for this model so I can run diagnostic tests and check errors.

5 DOOR REFRIGERATOR HERE AND IS GIVING PO CODE. THE MAIN BOARD AND THE POWER CONTROL BOARD BOTH HAVE BEEN CHANGED. THE COMPRESSOR CYCLES OF AND ON ABOUT EVERY 30 SECONDS TO A MINUTE. THERE IS FROST BUILD UP IN THE MIDDLE SECTION AND SOME IN THE FREEZER SECTION. ALL WIRES IN THE LEFT DOOR HAVE BEEN SPLICED. SOMEONE TOOK THE TECH SHEET, SO I CANNOT GET INTO DIAGNOSTIC MODE. ANY HELP ON THIS ONE WOULD BE WONDERFUL.

Not getting ice maker to work. Not getting power at ice make at all.

This is GE French door unit that was made by Samsung. In the fresh food section there is frost build up on the back wall to the right of the evaporator coils and evaporator cover. The frost build up happens fairly quickly. It is about 3″wide and 5″ tall. I have never seen this particular thing happen. The evaporator coils are not frozen over and there is no frost in any of the ports for airflow, just on the one spot on the back wall to the right. I would think this would possibly come from an bad evaporator cover, but reaching out for advice hear.

when i push the start button/the motor will stay on as long as i hold the button in.as soon as i release the button,the motor will shut down.this is the dryer motor

Is there a service bulletin on this model? Typical Samsung issue.

unit had slow ice production, replace water valve and ice maker, now no ice production and line to ice maker is frozen. freezer temp -14 ice room -11 fresh food 42. what controls the temp in the ice room. I beleive it is too cold, fill tube heater and door chute heater test fine. Suggestions?

No display on interface. There’s 120v coming in so there is power.

Americana Refrigerator A4425GDTAWW. Not cooling, freezer wall all froze up. This does not have a defrost timer, but a board. My question is, how do I manually put into the defrost cycle? I see on one plug on the board, it has three leads, one is line, one is defrost, and the other is compressor. How do I go about manually checking things out? Can I check the heater and thermostat in freezer from the board?

The machine is cleaned regularly and still looks like new although over 10 years old but recently it has been making a churning noise from the pump and noticed the water reservoir not filling all the way or not filling. 8 have turn off and on after resting it for 30 minutes and it will make another sheet but 5he same thing. The water flow each time I start the machine is strong as always but can’t figure out the problem. I’m pretty handy and have replaced parts over the years but this one has me stumped and nothing is on the internet with these systoms.

I replaced the compressor and ran fine for one day. All lights and interior fans work.after trying multiple times to display error codes, I have determined that there are none. After plugging in, indicator light on main b/d board lights for one second, then stays off. How do I troubleshoot this?

I’m wondering how the refrigerator compartment defrosts. The freezer has a heating element on the evaporator but I don’t see one on the fridge evaporator. The fridge evaporator is totally blocked with ice.

Refrigerator working but all displays go blank at times. Than ice and water dispenser stops working. It only starts up after being unplugged. At these times the cooling still works. Replaced the main board. Problem persists

It will start and run for awhile and cut off.Then when you restart it, it runs for 10/20 seconds and cuts off, restart and runs for 10/20 seconds. You get the idea. Please I’m old school, need help telling me what to check and how. Don’t like to have to ask, but i’m new to all is electronics stuff. Thanks Chip

I know the ice maker is bad on this unit, the question I have is, I know these units used to be bad about icing up at the back of the air chute from freezer, causing condensation the freezing over. Do you know what the kit part number is for the updated foam seals and the rest of the kit?

whirlpool fridge cools only when fast cool button press…..and then stops again….customer has to press this fast cool button often to make it cool…….what could be the possible culprit…..

Powers on but won’t start. Press start and you hear clicks and panel shows dryer is running but not running. Did confusing motor test per service sheet found on machine. I need service manual, video or anything that shows more troubleshooting ideas so I’m not guessing.

having an error code CE and SY -Power failure alarm keeps beeping. It beeps and in few min. go quite again. -Front and Side Panel – indicator light is out

Initially costumer had a clogged drain and over frosted rear panel so i figured its due to a clogged drain like Samsungs get frosty in the fresh food when drain is clogged, Cleaned drain and made sure everything was good but over frosting came back. THE SHEET OF ICE ON FREEZER FLOOR HAS NOT RETURNED so clearly not clogged drain but frost is back??!

(This brand was not on the selectable list but im sure you guys have serviced these or the Meile brand which appears to be identical internally, And am i paying for the monthly membership plus for every questions?..)

Customer said it won’t do anything, got power, but light up at the control board, it just won’t do a thing.

I had to disconnect the door switch to stop it from dispensing ice and clogging the ice shoot and filling the freezer. Is this the main board or do I need to change both it and the interface board or something else? Is there any videos or repair help answers. I couldn’t find anything. I’ve been trying to use the other resources and the premium videows and manual but couldn’t find any thing. If there is a way to navigate the site to find such things could you show me?
