have a LG front load dryer model dlex2550r that will not heat. I have checked all switches and element and they all test good. Is there something I’m missing before determining that the board is the problem?

I have a top load washer with a mechanical timer that is stuck in a spin cycle. No matter what setting the timer is on it just goes into a spin.

Checked polarity on outlet, check fuse, checked push start switch all good. There’s no power to the start switch. Only place I have power is on the line feed to timer. I’m thinking a bad timer but unsure

The complaint is that the dishes are not drying. I have no tech sheet and am looking for a way to run a diagnostic test or jump through the sequence so I don’t have to sit and wait for the element to turn on. The element does have continuity and 12.2 ohms. Thanks, Andy

The ice fill tube to freeze up. The original technician replaced the ice maker. I was called due to the same problem and I replaced the water valve. I was just rec-called due to the same problem. The customer’s wife was a t home and added additional information. She indicated that everything will work fine for awhile when the fill tube has been manually defrosted. Then she will notice water leaking from the water line and then the next day the ice maker fill tube is frozen. The water valve was replaced and it doesn’t seem like it would occasional fail to seat for both the water and ice maker at the same time. Any idea what would cause this intermittent problem?

This is the same question that I asked yesterday but I gave you the wrong model and serial numbers.
The washer fills, agitates, empties then stops. Board flashing ON, SPIN, LIdLOCK. Shuts down.

I have had several of these French door whirlpool brands lately that are over cooling the fresh food refrigerator side to the point of freezing. I set all possible settings to minimum or least cold. Partially covered the vent holes just to experiment. This particular model I tried to find the damper door to see if it’s closing but couldn’t find anything besides a tiny one on the side of the icemaker compartment. Please give technicians insight mostly because when I ask these questions I’m usually long ways away from the unit and onto the next job.

Breaker has been replaced, monitored current draw. very intermittent only did it once whilst on the call drew 16.5 amps for a brief second when the motor started this time it didn’t trip the breaker but registered on amprobe max draw, usually trips the breaker one a cycle, suspecting motor or invertor, any help would be welcome.

During agitation shifter doesn’t work and inner tub and agitator turn at same time. What is shifter voltage and resistance ? The inverter on the motor supply it’s voltage but what timer signal calls for it to actuate? Could my timer be bad or the motor or the shifter. Can you send me a theory of operation ?

Refrigerator quit cooling properly. Settings are at 38f in the fresh food section and 0f in the freezer. Actual temps are 60f and 28f in the freezer. No codes. No ice build up on the back walls. And the evaporator fan in the fresh food section is not running.

My fresh food sensor tested at 4.5 ohms at room temp 75 degrees I have ordered a new sensor anyway. if that doesn’t work what else can it be.

Frost paten is good on the evaporator in the fresh food section.

The condenser is clean.

Temp on display is 38 degrees for the fresh food section

The compressor was bad, so I replaced the compressor about a week ago, and then that one burnt up. I replaced the compressor a couple days ago and the homeowner said that it is not cooling as it should and there is condensation on the food and milk in the refrigerator. If this compressor burns up as well, what could be causing this? And what can I do to fix it?

this LG top load washer goes off balance almost every load. not loading or doing anything different than I did in the past. started doing this 2 months ago. Is it the balance ring, suspension rods, need software update, or combination of all? I can hear water in the balance ring, has some of it leaked out? Bearings and tub are in good condition. tub nut is not loose and bearings are not worn or loud. machine is level and firm on the floor. I have read this is a very common problem with LG top loaders. Select Normal cycle, fills, agitates, then after a few minutes starts spinning in one direction with clothes and water, tub starts banging against side of washer. Then it stops and reverses direction, spinning with clothes and water, bang, bang, bang, stops and goes back to agitating. The machine will do this with no clothes in it, on the normal cycle.
