There’s a plate looking piece in the top of my microwave that has a hole burned through it. Is it something I can replace? Seems relatively easy and it’s been bothering me. Not sure what it is to even call and order it.

I checked the water at the incoming lines and it’s there. Any thoughts? This is a fairly new machine and didn’t want to call it in under our warranty unless I really needed to.

Afraid it will burn my grandchildren it is so hot. Is that normal? I never noticed it until today after a couple loads. Could hardly stand in front of it.

I have a decent amount of water freezing in the bottom of my freezer and sometimes some water in the bottom of my refrigerator. What would be causing this? I checked temperatures and they seemed fine.

Neither element works. I tried broil, bake, etc.
Lite functions inside the oven.
No other sign of power.. Nothing happening.

Hi,
My Frigidaire Professional series dishwasher is about 9 years old and has been a great dishwasher thus far, no issues whatsoever. in fact, i have 2 of them installed (1 on each side of my sink in the kitchen). One of them made a strange noise (it was not running, in fact it was empty and nothing at all was illuminated on the control panel). After the noise, i looked over and smoke was coming up from right at the top where the unit latches. The smoke smelled electrical and as long as we kept the door latched it continued to smoke, so we had to leave it open. I have taken the cover off and the control display off to reveal the control panel inside. There was indeed black stains on the white box which i guess would be the control unit.
My question would be, should i replace the entire ‘control unit’ of this dishwasher as the best way to potentially resolve this issue and have a functioning unit again? Currently now, nothing shows on the control display as though it has completely shorted out.

if cycle speed is set to normal(slow/fast) water is pumped out on last cycle but the tub wont spin. no sound of clutch engaging is heard. open and close lid, clutch engagement sound is heard and tub starts to spin properly. if cycle speed is set to hand wash(extra slow/slow) sound of clutch engaging is heard at correct times and clothes are dry.

was able to replace it based on your video but it is still leaking and getting ice in the bottom. Do I have to defrost it? I did not do that or could it be something else wrong?

I have inherited a problem Amana BR18 Top/bottom refridgerator/freezer that is barely cooling the top but is freezing below, though with some defrost issues. I have been told that the prior tenant had attempted to fix some problem within the unit & that the fan motor was messed with in an attempt to repair the unit somehow? Can you help me possibly diagnose this problem? If so I will buy any new parts from you for the repair. Your help will be appreciated. Thank you.

hi – i have a Whirlpool Duet dryer that just stopped working. The unit might be two years old if even. The unit was running fine with no issues. I went to use it and there was no power. The inside the does not come on nor any of the control panel lights. I checked the breaker and that was not tripped. I checked the plug in the wall and that was firmly in place. I have seen a couple of internet posts where the fuse may be the issue but i am thinking that is only for the heating element and not power to the whole unit. Curious if you have any other suggestions before i change out the fuse only to find out its alot more than that.
thank you,
Keith

I am going to ask this question again – I think that maybe I am not sure how to use the site – because I am not sure how to respond to the answer that Matt provided to me. The answer was not helpful because as I indicated I had already turned the power off to the dishwasher and that did not work.
Hi Mat The clean light flashes 4 times, stops for a bit and then flashes 4 times again continuously (the manual identifies this as an error code. I did unplug (power off) the unit and the problem was not corrected. I also sequenced through pushing the High Temp. Scrub and Heated Dry buttons several times as was identified online as a reset, but this did not work either. Is there another way to reset this model?

Samsung ice maker model RF4287HARRS, SN: I02043CC1003. I first went out on the job and the IM did not cycle after I pushed the reset button down for about 15 seconds so I replaced the IM. On my second visit I found the IM that I installed had the fingers frozen onto the water inside the tray. I put another Im in this unit and made sure that it cycled by holding down the button for a few seconds and it did cycle (I dumped the water to make sure it wasn’t overfilled). But again no ice? Any ideas….

Have a 1 year old whirlpool dishwasher with a burned pc board.
Order and install new board but console buttons are in operative. Ran Diagnostics print sheet but motor contiously runs and cancel or start buttons are inoperative. Any one have a MANUAL on this unit. Model: WDF530PAYW5
I’ve seen it as several whirlpool brand names and they will all probably have the same problems.
A side note, when you remove the board, 1 screw and slide it to the left 1/2 inch to free it from locking slots in rear. ( also a plastic lock tab on top )

I am working on a GE dishwasher model# GLD4456R00CS and the unit had gotten hit by a power surge and burnt out control board. I replaced control board kit ( cam with both control board and touch control board w/ connector harness). Now the clean light keeps blinking steady no pauses, and the touch pads do not work. I checked connections but all good. A bad new touch control or something else? No service tech sheet in unit.
Any help greatly appreciated thanks.

Samsung dw 1E error code, model DW80F800UWS/AA, serial B009g9md604628d
This is supposed to be a high temp heating error. Had schematic for DMT800 series dishwasher with me. This wire diagram did not match the wire diagram on the main pcb cover on dw. Did not see thermistor listed on dw wire diagram on unit.
Heating element had 12 ohms, but no power going to it in quick wash cycle. Could not get it into diagnostic mode.
What should I be checking? I am guessing you need to pull the unit to get to components like LG brands?

I have a model 3151 ice machine which had a bad cube size control. The new control looks different in its terminal designation, and the darn part came with NO notes on how to adapt to the new control. The old one had a 1, 2 & 3 terminal marking. The new one has 4, 5 & 6. Have no idea where to place the wires properly..anyone else been here?

Maytag Neptune washer model# MAH4000AWW – starts and stops:
This unit has a timer and a motor control board and a push start button. When you place the timer on any load size and press the start button, the washer begins and fills with water. Once filed the unit shuts off. It does not advance, the timer is not ticking like any egg timer or moving through the cycle at all. If you press the on/off button again it will fill with a little water but stops and turns off.
The motor control board and the time are both expensive. Too expensive to replace both, but i am having trouble separating out which one it may be. I am not looking to the motor because the timer is not advancing at all or should it be, I am not sure.
