It was working fine, large load was put in, now it will not spin at all.

This second ground wire may have connected somewhere – I’am not sure. I went behind panel to check on ice buildup because the ice was melting and refrigerator not cold. Right now the freezer seems fine with the fan working somewhat but no cool air is entering to refrigerator area. I can certainly use your assistance.

Frigidaire dishwasher bottom arm works great upper arm does not turn because the water does not go all the way to the top of the tube that runs up the side and to the top of the dishwasher and then shoots down to the upper wash arm . I have added more water and that does not help . If I stop the washer and restart it in a few seconds the water will start then flowing strong to the upper rack threw the tube . When this happens the lower arm them gets no water to it . I did take the motor out and found some glass in the motor wheel , removed the glass and reinstalled the motor but that did not help the problem. The motor runs and seems to be running fine could the motor not be running as fast as it should and be the problem ? Only thing I can think is maybe a motor problem , the motor does seem to be running ok .

A few weeks ago I changed the drain tube on my freezer to keep the sheet of ice from forming in the bottom of my freezer. Your video was REALLY helpful. However, i still have a sheet of ice forming. I was told I may have to defrost my freezer to completely fix the problem. The problem is, we have to use our refrigerator. Is there a way to unplug the freezer so it can thaw out without having to take everything out of our refrigerator? I took the back bottom panel off and saw two different things plugged in, but wasn’t sure if one of those plugs controlled the cooling unit to the freezer itself. Can you help me?

Hi, nice website and I really like your video’s! Would you have the “tech sheet” for this model WED9470WW2? I can’t find it anywhere. My dryer is brand new, literally just delivered and yesterday I got it all ready by installing the 4 prong power cord, inlet water hoses, venting. I followed the installation guide, but when my wife attempted to press the start button after successfully powering up the dryer, the drum would not turn and the unit makes a very loud noise like the motor is trying to turn the drum, but something is preventing the drum from moving. I called Whirlpool to see if there were any shipping bolts that perhaps I forgot to remove and they said their dryers don’t have shipping bolts.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Whirlpool says they can’t send a repair tech over until Sept. 23rd to look at it. Seriously? That will be 6 weeks since we placed the order only to have it delivered and it doesn’t work, now need to wait several more weeks for repair.

I have a Crosley washer. I have searched and searched and cannot find the model number. By appearance, I believe it is a CAW9244XQ4 . When you push the start button, nothing happens.

Here is the timeline of the failure:
– for about 1 week, when you pushed the start button, the light would come on for sensing and it would do nothing. If you held the start button to cancel, and hit start again, it would eventually finish the sensing and wash the load.
– for about 2 weeks, when you pushed the start button, the light would come on for sensing but it would not run. No matter if you cancelled the load or unplugged it, it would never continue on and run.
– currently, nothing happens when you hit the start button. No lights come on.

When I followed the key sequence, the washer went into diagnostics mode. I could select the same setting in the video, but it did not solve my problem.

How do I get instructions to all the testing and functions in the diagnostics mode?

Frigidaire dishwasher Model FDB51OLCS3 The water will not go all the way to the top of the tube to flow into the upper rack wash arm so it will turn . If you take the ball out of the sump the water will then flow to the upper wash arm but the arm still will not turn . Do not see anything in the sump blocking the water flow.

Hello, a few months ago we had the garbage disposal stopped working. After flipping the switch, it would make a humming sound. No one knew what the cause of the sound was, so we stopped using the disposal altogether, and just used a food catcher in the sink to catch any food, so that it would not go down into the drain, and we had no access to the garbage disposal. For months, it has not been used, because of the assumption that the motor had ran out. I came across your YouTube video about an easy quick fix for a clogged garbage disposal, and I got an Allen wrench and attempted turning it from the hole at the bottom, and I was wondering, does the disposal have to be plugged in in order to turn? I attempted to turn it counterclockwise and either I am not strong enough or it did not move at all. Right now it is currently unplugged, so I am wondering if it should be plugged in for me to turn it, and if I am turning it in the correct direction.

I installed the updated drain fix kit and our freezer still accumulates a sheet of ice in the bottom which inturn leaks onto the floor. Do I need to defrost the freezer for this to be fixed or is there another issue? Our ice maker also stopped working, I’m not sure if that is related to this issue or not.

stops in the middle of the heating cycle

I have a GE gss20ietc sidexside and I had it plugged in and open for quite a while taking out the ice maker and auger motor unit because the nut on the auger turning bracket was missing… so after taking those two units out within a couple of days the freezer side was working but the fridge side was not, so I took out the back panel in the freezer like your videos show and yes, almost solid block of ice… BUT one thing was the ground strap was not attached to the panel cover… what does that effect? I tested the heater as per videos show with an ohm meter, it’s good but before I start ordering the defrost thermostat and/or the thermistor, would the ground strap not being clipped on the panel have an effect on the defrosting malfunctioning? TIA

This is a question all technicians ask. What should we do ?

What I see is that the refrigerator section is set for 38 degrees but is sitting at about 51 degrees. The freezer is below 10 degrees or so. (my thermometer doesn’t go low enough to read below 10)

The blower behind the ice maker appears to be intended to draw cold air up into the refrigerator section. It will cycle on for a few seconds and blows cold air, but does not stay on. The control damper stays in the position to provide cold air to the refrigerator.

The ice maker is not attempting to make ice. The ice maker area was sitting at about 17 degrees when I checked it. (It was the first symptom I noticed, before I realized the fridge area was not at the right temp.

I have an electronics background, but I don’t know how this things is supposed to work so I’m sort of working blind on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I ran the diagnostic on my Whirlpool washes I have blinking simultaneously light for FILL, RINSE and Done. What does this mean? Please help. I don’t want to try and open the top to get the tech sheet cause I need to know first what the problem is.

how do I clean the filter

I’ve watched your videos on how ice build up behind the back panel will prevent a frig from getting cold. I’ve also had to remove this build up of ice myself a total of 3 times. I noticed after the last time I removed the ice and plugged it back in my frig temp gauge would show 34 degrees but the compartment was not close to being that cold. Why would my frig not get as cold as the temp gauge even after I cleared all the ice out? Now I’m in the process of removing ice again and my question is what part do you think, based on your experience as a repair technician, I need to replace so I don’t have to do this every 2 months? I can verify that the fan is still operating properly. Would you suggest I replace the heater? Or the sensor? If I purchased the heater would the sensor also come with it? The frig is only 2 yrs 4 months old. Thanks for your help.

get water but want make ice

I have a Samsung RF263AEPN model refrigerator that was purchased in 2012. I has not been keeping the refrigerator cool despite the 34 degrees display reading. I removed the perishable foods before going on vacation and came back about 10 days later. Still not cool. I noticed ice on the vents in back panels and in slots in the shelving unit. I placed it in “OF” mode last night. This morning there was water in the deli bin and under the bin. I cleaned up the water and placed the frig in 34 degrees temp, but did not hear any noise. I kept it on for about five minutes while I continued to remove the water and the temp inside slowly changed from 34 to 37. I placed the frig back on “OF” mode. When I get home tonight it will be on “OF” mode, despite that five minute interval, for 20 hours. Hopefully, every bit of ice has melted. I hope it solves the problem.

I installed the new pea trap drain tube with the help of your video. It was surely a help. However, I am still having a sheet of ice that forms. I submitted this on comments section on youtube video, and one of the technicians said I would still have to defrost the freezer. My question is, is is possible to unplug the freezer without turning off the whole refrigerator because we are using the refrigerator?
